I haven't been writting, since the Dems. won the Senate and the House. Nothing Has Been Done!! The only thing that has been accomplished, is 60 votes in the house about the Iraq War. Remember Nancy Pelosi and the Dems. swore that if they where elected, and they had control, they would end the Iraq War. Well they haven't, and I hope all the Dems. who voted Ms. Pelosi and the other losersin, are otraged. You where lied to, so how will you respond now?
There is no agreement or plans on immigration. I am against building a "wall". It is 2007, we should be able to monitor the boarders with technology, not fences and barb wire. Satellites, radar, infared sensors, etc. should be utilized, and we need to stop illegal immigration at our borders.
For the illegals here, we shoul have themall "register "immediately, and background checks will be performes. Illegals with criminnal records, should be deported. A.S.A.P.. The illegals without criminalrecords, should the be given options to follow on a path to citizenship. Not amnesty, The illegals should be able to become citizens, by serving in the military, community service, monetary penalties, etc. Set up a system to become legal, and at the same time serve the needs of our country.
As for the sub prime mortgage crisis, I don't think our government shoul be bailing these people out. It is not the fault of those who offered the loans, now that the borrower can not afford to pay. TRh3ese where adults, who decided to borrow money, under terms they thopught they could afford. These loans showed a true "freedom" to be able to attain the dream home, and now with all the defaults, we will probably never have that freedom of borrowing again.
A small cost of freedom, is personal responsibility, not our govrnment as the "savior" whwenadults make mistakes.
The Federal Gvernment never helped me out, when I made financial mistakes, and I don't want them to, this would make us less free.,
I don't think we will see anything getting done in the next year out of Washington,. Why are we paying Congress and the Senate to accomplish nothing?" We need another war for independence, where we over throw our present government, thus the need to maintain our second ammendment rights.,
